Oyster Travel Prize Terms and Conditions

Promoter and participants

  • The Promoter is Oyster Travel Norwich, 65-66 Catton Chase, Old Catton, Norwich, NR6 7AS. All entrants (“Participants”) must be UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, their affiliated companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.
  • By entering this prize draw, all Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing.

How to participate

  • An entry must be made via the enquiry form with a valid email address during the period to 20th October 2024 23:59 (BST) (inclusive).
  • By fulfilling this criteria, customers will automatically be included in the prize draw. Sign ups received after the Close Date will not qualify.
  • A second entry can be made on our Facebook or Instagram pages. On posts where a second entry is mentioned, participants must Like/Follow the account, and then tag their travel buddy and let us know their dream destination in the comments during the period to 20th October 2024 23:59 (BST) (inclusive).
  • To apply for a second entry, participants must have already entered via the enquiry form first.

The prize

  • The Prize is a £1,000 voucher to spend towards a new holiday only booked through Oyster Travel and cannot be used towards an existing booking.
  • The voucher must be used on a holiday booking before the 31st December 2024 but is valid for any period.
  • The Prize is none transferable to other people.
  • Winners must contact the Oyster Travel to redeem the Prize. No responsibility can be accepted if a winner fails to redeem the Prize (entirely or partially) prior to the expiry date on the 31st December 2024.
  • Voucher valid for one-time use only and must be redeemed in a single transaction.
  • Voucher can be used towards a full-priced holiday only and cannot be combined with additional discounts.
  • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter reserves the right to publish the first / last name, town and country of the winner or to publicise any prize giving presentation after the date of the draw, or to send the surname and county of the winner to anyone who contacts them. If the winner does not wish such details to be published, they must advise the Promoter at the time of being notified that they have won.
  • The prize cannot be paid in cash.

Prize draw and notification

The winner will be drawn at random by a computer process from all Qualifying Sign Ups after the closing date. The winner will be contacted by email and telephone on the 30th October 2024, following the prize draw.

  • Promoter reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this promotion..

  • The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
